On April 16, 2026, a special negotiation meeting was held between Yanhe Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. and representatives of the Ethiopia-China Friendship and Cooperation Committee of the Ethiopian Embassy in China. Relevant personnel including the Chairman, Chairman Assistant of Yanhe Automobile, as well as the Chairman and Secretary General of the Committee attended the meeting. In-depth exchanges were conducted on core topics such as the overseas launch of new energy vehicles and localized production cooperation.

At the meeting, the Yanhe Automobile team gave a detailed presentation on the company's development, product layout and overseas market achievements. He clarified that the company can customize adaptive low-speed electric vehicles according to Ethiopia's road conditions and travel needs, and optimize the chassis and three-electric system to suit local travel demands.

Meanwhile, the company can build overseas assembly production lines through the CKD model and support battery swap facilities, so as to fully meet the large-scale implementation needs of the project. The Chairman of Yanhe stated that if the Sino-Ethiopian project reaches cooperation with Yanhe, the company will promptly implement the product plan and efficiently boost the all-round development of Sino-Ethiopian cooperation.
