Abstract
(1) The main painted parts of heavy-duty trucks are the front cabs, which have the highest painting requirements; other parts such as the cargo box and chassis have lower painting requirements than the cab.
(2) The painting of passenger cars is significantly different from that of freight trucks. Passenger car bodies include the main beam, frame, interior of the cargo box, and exterior surface of the body, with the exterior surface having the highest requirements. The exterior surface of the body not only requires good protection and decoration, but also has a large spraying area, many flat surfaces, more than two colors, and sometimes automotive stripes. Therefore, the construction cycle is longer than that of freight trucks, the construction requirements are higher than that of freight trucks, and the construction process is more complex than that of freight trucks.
(3) Passenger cars and small station wagons have higher requirements for both surface decoration and underlying protection than large passenger cars and freight trucks. Its surface coating belongs to the first-class decorative precision, with a beautiful appearance, a mirror-like or smooth surface, free of fine impurities, scratches, cracks, wrinkles, bubbles, and visible defects, and should have sufficient mechanical strength.
The bottom coating is a superior protective layer, and should have excellent rust prevention and corrosion resistance, and strong adhesion; partial or full scraping coating with good adhesion and high mechanical strength putty, will not show rust or shedding after several years of use.
